In January 2024, I launched a series of hand-sculpted ceramic planters, called Mud Monsters. I call them “fierce succulent guardians”. I see each monster as an expression of anger in response to the unfolding manmade environmental crisis. I want Mud Monsters to be a daily reminder of our crucial role in the contemporary ecosystem, from the individual to the ecosystemic level.
